We´re a cutting-edge online media company with our fingers on as many pulses as we can find. We like to find and conquer qool projects on the web, and so far we´re experts in domains, search, advertising and content.
There are a few ways you can define us, including the usual job titles like traffic managers, programmers, editors and graphic designers. We think of ourselves through other terms though, too. We have foosball champions and novices, fastfood addicts and regular to-work bikers, vegetarians and meat-eaters, and even a few poker players. Our team is growing, and getting stronger, and it's our committment to helping each other out, having fun, and keeping open communication that serves us so well.
Always focused, Curt has overall responsibility for the organization. In 1997, Curt started IP Applications Corp., an IT outsourcing company, with two partners. As President, he helped the company grow at an average rate of 70% compounded annually for more than 6 years, and in 2003 he took the company public. He´s since sat on the boards of IP Applications and of Coastal Contacts, a publicly traded company (COA. V). Mr. Cranfield has a BSc. in Economics and BSc. in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria.
Curt is the Qool President, CEO and head Barbecue Chef. He´s a firm believer that a good process is key to success, which means that the chicken is always placed on the grill before the hamburgers, and the veggie dogs have their own section.
Aaron is responsible for identifying key product areas the company can dominate, including identifying new website models and developing new Internet advertising trends.
Prior to joining The Guide Publishers, Aaron was the founder and CEO of Samsonoff Media, which was acquired by Qool (then called “The Guide Publishers”) in December, 2006. Samsonoff Media was engaged in driving large volumes of Internet traffic using PPC Advertising. In the past, Aaron has successfully been involved in many facets of online business, such as subscription-based websites, SEO, e-commerce stores and content sites.
Aaron is a true entrepreneur who is always looking for an imperfection in the market to capitalize on and an opponent´s bad move on the foosball table to take advantage of.
